Reuben Carranza has joined Luxury Brand Partners (LBP) as President of Specialty Brands. Carranza will oversee the development of several innovative new brands and education platforms that will be launching over the next several years, including several, which will debut in 2014.
Carranza joins LBP after an illustrious career at Procter & Gamble, where he worked for 24 years. For the past eight years, he was CEO, North America, of Wella, The Salon Professional Division of P&G, where he led a portfolio that included Wella Professional, Clairol Professional, Sebastian Professional and Nioxin. With Wella, Carranza was able to delve deeply into an industry that leveraged his heritage: Carranza grew up in a family of hairdressers, giving him a unique perspective about celebrating the hairdresser and salon owner and helping salons grow.
Carranza is on the board of several industry organizations, including the Professional Beauty Association and Beauty Changes Lives, and was honored with the 2013 City of Hope Spirit of Life Award for the Professional Salon Industry.
Carranza has relocated to Miami to work out of the company's headquarters.
