Chromastics Hair Color held its first annual Shades of Excellence national hair color educational event in Orlando, Florida.
Master Hair Colorist Tom Dispenza joined Master Hair Designers, Mike Karg, Stephen Adams, Franco Marino and a team of Rising Stars to celebrate two days of interactive education to boost everyone's creative and business skills. Here's a summary of the program.

Tom Dispenza ~The Evolution Of Hair Color
Tom Dispenza shared a series of presentations devoted expressly to blondes, redheads, brunettes and highlights. He presented the latest trends with special how-to techniques for customized client formulations. Dispenza shared the stage with Chase Wakeling and Caitlin Maddan, two dynamic Chromastics Hair Color educators from Carabito in Portland, Maine.
Mike Karg ~ DryHairCut 2014
Flown in from Switzerland, Karg taught how to eliminate weight and add texture to cuts while working with a mode and functional approach. Karg is currently working on the main stage at many major professional hair conventions across Europe and the USA. He also works with many Hollywood celebrities, photographers, and art directors. Sharon Stone and Marisa Tomei have flaunted his dry haircuts.
Stephen Adams ~ The World Of 3D Haircutting With A Razor
"Now is the time for hair designers and their clients to explore the razor haircut," says Stephen Adams. "It's not just a creative hair shattering tool. The razor is a precision haircutting tool." Adams demonstrated how using the razor makes extremely clean haircuts, graduation, and layering. The owner of Moxie Hair Salons in St. Paul and Minneapolis, Adams is also a highly sought after platform artist and educator for Chromastics Hair Color, Unique Salon Services and Arrojo Hair Products.
Rising Stars!
The stage was set for an electrifying forecast of creative hair color and design by four of the top rising stars from the Chromastics Hair Color education team.
Multi-talented hair colorist Trixie Dickinson of Salon Moxie in St. Paul, Minnesota unveiled her new Aura Hair Collection. Dickenson shared a creative hair design jouey through an Aurora Borealis of color into a meteor emulating fashion and design.
Tracy Eaton, Owner of Hair Benders in Ellsworth, Maine is a very artistic Master Hair Colorist. Eaton presented her new 'Mode Retro Pin-Up Hair Color', sharing the retu to femininity with glamorous style and makeup accentuated with bright shades of color.
Brentt Flammang of Moxie Hair Salon in Saint Paul, Minnesota is an innovative hair colorist who creates unique techniques, while finding new ways to express hair color artistry by keeping his work fresh and cutting edge. He shared simple multi-dimensional techniques for everyday wearable hair color that can be easily translated into contemporary and avant-garde looks.
Ginger Huff, owner of Salon Fusion in Bonaire, Georgia is driven by passion and creativity. Huff is experienced with face flattering haircuts and the ability to tame resistant grey hair while creating amazing results from the racy reds to the boldest blondes. Huff presented her 'Chromastics 25 Foil Technique', with how to create customized hair designs to artistically accentuate each client's best features and lifestyle needs.
