Robert Passage, Chairman and CEO of Pivot Point International, Inc., headquartered in Evanston, Ill., announces the appointment of Melanie Koroyan-Kopeikin as President of the company, which was founded by his father, Leo Passage. Koroyan-Kopeikin will begin her tenure effective October 15, 2012.
"After a thorough search," says Passage, "we've found someone who will be an incredible asset and a welcomed addition to the global Pivot Point family."
Melanie Koroyan-Kopeikin began her salon industry career with Nexxus and Jheri Redding, where she established distribution in the Central and Southern California marketplaces during the company's formative years. She created the infrastructure for the new distribution company including operations, finance, sales, marketing and education. After spending nearly 19 years in this capacity, Melanie joined P&G Professional as the Director of Strategic Trade Development and later served as Senior Director of Business Development.
Most recently president of her own consulting firm, Melanie served as acting Vice President of Marketing for KPSS USA (Goldwell and KMS), mentored young executives seeking roles in the professional beauty industry, and led sales, marketing, education and distribution efforts for several prestige brands. Koroyan-Kopeikin sold the business in order to join Pivot Point.

Passage concluded the announcement on behalf of the Passage family with a re-dedication to the development and delivery of educational programs to improve the lives of future professionals.
