It was in the movement of life, the stirring of the world that Jordan Hone of Sydney's Sloans of Lane Cove found inspiration for the Overture collection.
"The way a symphony of individuals becomes one entity-and for each note they create, the movement and feeling lasts only an instant and then is gone forever. It is the essence of these fleeting moments that this collection aims to capture," says Hone.

With movement comes texture, and Overture has whisked Jordan into a new phase of experimentation. Renowned for her polished editorial work, which boasts clean lines, minimalism, and a sense of feminine glamour, Hone yearned to move into a darker space with Overture.

She was inspired, in part, by the Chanel F/W 14/15 show, specifically the use of varying textures across crimping, braiding, and natural hair finishes, which subtly inspired the intricate melding of textures throughout in Overture.
