Trend! FORBIDDEN

“After our meeting with David and Phillipe Blond, we went crazy,” says CND Style Director Jan Arnold.

“Their collection fit perfectly with our FORBIDDEN trend, but in the most exaggerated way possible.

We adorned their dangerous femme fatales with long, often daggerlike nails.

Some dripped ‘blood’ or were shaped like weapons, while others featured the blurry, neon glow of the Bates Motel sign, Jack Nicholson’s face as he screamed ‘Here’s Johnny,’ or were sculpted super-long and painted blackest black or bright red and encrusted with bling.

All told, we created 22 miniature works of art that were adorned with a total of 8,000 Swarovski crystals in Garnet, Jet, Hematite, and Siam.”
