One Show, Two Hairstyles: Ralph Lauren at NYFW
Two simple yet sophisticated looks were presented at the Ralph Lauren runway show during NYFW.

Redken Creative Consultant Guido created two different syles for American designer Ralph Lauren's Polo and ready-to-wear collections - the former a more downtown, relaxed look, and the latter a chic and stylish pony. Both were classic looks for a classic designer, and both were created using Redken's blowdry products. 

"For the Ralph Lauren collection look, I used satinwear 02 prepping blow-dry lotion to give the hair a silky, luxurious finish," says Guido. "It was a classic Ralph Lauren ponytail that perfectly contrasted with the more natural, uninhibited style wo by the model for the Polo line."

Create the ready-to-wear Look:

1. Shampoo and condition the hair with Redken Clear Moisture shampoo and conditioner
2. Apply satinwear 02 prepping blow-dry lotion to damp hair
3. Blowdry hair with round brush
4. Use fingers to pull hair back into a low ponytail
5. Fasten with a hair elastic
6. Wrap and pin a small piece of hair around the elastic
7. Finish with fashion work 12 versatile working spray

Ralph Lauren Polo

Create the Polo Look:

1. Shampoo and condition the hair with Redken Clear Moisture shampoo and conditioner
2. Apply pillow proof blowdry express primer 2 damp hair
3. Allow hair to dry naturally
4. Use a curling iron to add movement into the mid-lengths and ends if necessary
5. Spray pillow proof blowdry two day extender on mid-lengths and ends for added texture
