Salon Concrete's Christine Zilinski organizes a Hair for Heroes summer event to generate revenue for those in crisis

Coming this summer is the "Hair for Heroes" nationwide fundraising event. To be held August 4, the event was created by USA Hometown Heroes and Christine Zilinski of Salon Concrete in Red, Bank New Jersey.

The goal of "Hair for Heroes" is for salons & stylists around the country to dedicate a day of service (Monday, Aug. 4th, 2014), and raise money to benefit USA Hometown Heroes The money raised will assist those affected by crisis around the country.

Zilinski recommends a cost of $50 per haircut and a minimum goal of $1,000 per salon. Each salon will be able to set up their own fundraising page and each stylist can set up their own personal fundraising page. Prizes will be awarded to the salons and stylists that hit various fundraising goals, and to those that raise the most money overall.
