Unite appointed new Global Education Director
Marcus Allen was appointed Global Education Director at Unite. He joins the company from his most recent position as salon manager at London's Urban Retreat salon at Harrods.
As Global Education Director at Unite, Allen will continue to develop technical and business programs in both North America and Europe.
He is also keen to share his expertise by contributing comments, articles, or appearances for Unite. In addition, he will help promote professionalism and profit margins within the industry.
Allen, who originally hails from Louisiana, has mastered the art of salon management while being at the core of Urban Retreat's highly successful salon business.
With 220 staff members, the salon handled between 11,000 and 14,000 services per month-and Allen is credited for helping fuel the business into a $23.5 million empire, all while working behind the chair.
