Getting Tamed!

Recently, a lock-taming opportunity came my way. I was invited to New York City's chic Gemini 14 Salon to get my wavy (and often frizzy) locks tamed by GK Hair's "The Best" Juvexin treatment, a brand-new, non-formaldehyde taming system.

My hair ranges from wavy to curly and gets unruly and frizzy at the mere mention of rain, so I was looking forward to a complete new hair experience! Tailored to each client's preferences, it may take 15 minutes for "The Best" to tame fine, wavy hair and up to 60 minutes for thick, coarse, tight curls. I opted for a more tamed version of my wavy hair, but was eager to wear it straight for the day.

After washing it the next day, some of my curl came back. Two days later, although it poured all day, my hair was unusually manageable and there was absolutely no frizz! None! I was told my hair would remain that way for 3 to 5 months. So far it has been nearly three weeks and it still looks like it did the day after I had it done.
