From the catwalks of London is designer Mark Fast's power ponytail that radiates couture color! Fast's Autumn/Winter 2013 collection drew inspiration from "cinematic mystery-winter in London."

The collection, "Through the Darkness" reflects a dark period in the designer's life. "I had drama going on in my life and this was reflected in the clothes. These were dark times, but I wanted to find the beauty in that and show emotion through texture. It was a different way of working for me," says Fast.

The dramatic hair looks were created by CATWALK by TIGI Global Creative Director Nick Irwin. "The look we wanted to create is mature, dramatic and saturated. It's young, cool and trendy with a couture feel," says Christel Lundqvist, TIGI Global Technical Director. "Using TIGI Copyright Colour, we mixed bold primary tones together. The vibrant colors in the hair mirror the exact palette in the clothes, but we made sure there was a clash there too." Adds Irwin, "The whole aesthetic was to create something quite couture and super detailed. The girls are clones, but the different colors running through their hair make them individuals."

Get the Look:

1. Start with a center parting and blow dry flat to the head using CATWALK by TIGI Curlesque Strong Mousse for hold

2. Pull hair into a low, clean ponytail, keeping in place with CATWALK by TIGI Session Series Work It Hairspray

3. Add two colored wefts at the crown and brush back into the ponytail to create a strong block of color. All wefts have been individually colored with TIGI Copyright Colour

4. Tong hair lightly at the ends, so it's not super straight and has movement
