Joico Staff Update
The Joico staff welcomes Jean-Philippe "JP" Charrier as Chief Officer, Professional Operations Division, Shiseido, Ltd., Joico's parent company.
Charrier, who officially took over earlier this year for his predecessor Mr. Kozo Hanada (now President of Shiseido Professional Inc. in Japan), had been traveling extensively since then.
With the warm, sunny weather that greeted him on his journey to Southern California, Charrier jokingly lamented having to leave after only one day. Joining Charrier were Seiji Sato, Sr. Mgr., Professional Business Operations Division and Tomoko Shiomi, Liaison Mgr. of Professional Business Operations Division, also arriving from Shiseido headquarters in Japan, as well as Ron Krassin, CEO and Toshi Komatsu, EVP Corporate Planning, for Zotos International, Inc.
Sara Jones, Sr. VP and GM for Joico/ISO/Minardi welcomed the group, introducing Krassin who addressed the audience briefly before handing the floor over to Charrier.
After recognizing Joico for its unprecedented growth over recent years, Charrier shared his vision; anchored upon making the salon professional and the salon business first and foremost among all priorities.
Expressing a clear strategy to represent the leading edge of beauty within the Shiseido Group, Charrier also spoke about being a source for inspiration and creativity, while continuing to be a leader in haircare innovations.
