Jason Briggs has been promoted to Sr. Director of International Sales. Briggs has consistently shown great initiative in the Latin America territory. He has been very successful in negotiating innovative solutions that will benefit the company in both the short-and long-term in this territory. His focus on driving the Brazilian market and other key initiatives will have a great impact on the future growth of this vital territory. His efforts to expand the company's presence in the Mercosur market enables Joico to solidify its position in these key markets. His expansion of the educational offerings by brokering a full-time educator for Brazil has been a huge improvement and long-term will allow the company to save money while growing its hair color business.
Audrey Wu has been promoted to Senior Graphic Designer. Since joining the creative team, Wu has grown the brands she's worked on via her topnotch design abilities and sense of aesthetics. She has successfully worked on high profile projects such as Beth Minardi Signature and all Joico color brands.
Finally, Samantha de Castro has come on board as Assistant Communications Manager. A great asset to Joico in her temporary role as PR Assistant, de Castro has a proven record of success. She recently took on more responsibility and contributed significantly to Joico's digital platforms and social media. As Assistant Communications Manager, she is responsible for Joico's digital marketing campaigns, as well as social media management and content development, trade PR initiatives, and other communications/digital and PR functions as the department requires.
