This fall, the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) will launch one-day Regional Salon Summits, which will be held nationwide. Designed to assist salon owners and beauty professionals with elevating their businesses and careers, the summits will feature a variety of sessions with hot topics that range from business management and tax planning to marketing and staff development. Networking will also be in full swing.
Essential Salon Products will host the first summit, which will be held September 10, 2012 in the Boston area.
Designed to maximize time and take-home knowledge, this summit will feature four core sessions, including: Social Intelligence: Leveraging Social Platforms to Grow Your Business (Gordon Miller); Leadership Matters, which will be led by beauty industry coach, Terri Cowan; and The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership with Vivienne Mackinder. She will address the art of connection and persuasive communication.
Finally, Neil Ducoff will lead Achieving Extraordinary, which will teach attendees how snapping out of their routines can truly make their businesses soar. It will highlight the systems and disciplines every salon must employ to drive productivity, profitability, staff retention, and customer loyalty.
The Boston summit will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Essential Salon Products in Holliston, Mass. PBA members are offered a discounted price of $109, while nonmember regular admission is $159.00. To register, visit www.probeauty.org (select Regional Salon Summit on the homepage).
Look for future summits in the Midwest (Spring 2013); West Coast (Summer 2013); and the East Cost (Fall 2013).
