Clean, minimal, industrial architecture with a rustic vibe is the distinctive style at Salon Concrete's recently unveiled space in Red Bank, NJ.
Moving just down the street, Salon Concrete has expanded 2,500 square-feet and now boasts 22 new stylist stations. The new space was designed with an effort to increase the salon flow, provide more free and open space for guests, and to grow the salon's Concrete Education and Concrete Business training programs with both technical cut/color and business development classes for salon professionals.
The grand opening fete kicked off with an avante garde fashion/beauty event that showcased Fall 2013 hair trends. The festivities and salon ambience was further enriched by an ongoing revolving art exhibit displaying works by local artists. The first paintings on display have been created by abstract artist Monika McCall.
Inspired by a trip to Italy, the salon's owner Christine Zilinski, was romanced by industrial architecture and therefore selected exposed concrete and restored wood materials to accent the interior. While the elements may be raw the feeling inside the salon is warm and inviting which is attributed to the talented and friendly salon team, as well as its customer service, which is among the salon's top priorities.
