Bridging the gap between modern hairstyling and retro Hollywood glamour, Hairdreams ambassadors, The Doves, recreated the looks of legendary blonde bombshells, dramatic brunettes and scarlet redheads. The team used today's modern Hairdreams extensions techniques and a fusion of texture, volume and glamorous color and length, to create a collection of truly iconic styles.
The Doves' presentation, which was held at Intercoiffure Symposium Miami 2012, showcased a lineup of legendary styles worn by iconic Hollywood beauties. From ravenous red-heads to dramatic bobs and tousled, blonde long locks, many of today's women are flaunting classic looks inspired by screen star legends such as Elizabeth Taylor and Raquel Welch. Their captivating beauty was the inspiration behind Hairdreams latest project: Hollywood Styles Collection, which features four signature, modernized hairstyles. Each one is marked by a screen star legend. They include Louise Brooks, Cleopatra, Brigitte Bardot and Jessica Rabbit. This glamorous presentation highlighted new Hairdreams strand colors, Volume+system (Top Hair) and Quikkies.
In other news, Hairdreams awarded lucky salon owner Coral Pleas from Sarasota's "Cutting Loose" salon with an exclusive Hairdreams contract plus a 2-Day Doves Event: "Creating your Signature Look" valued at more than $2,000. This 2-day, step-by-step class consists of creating a signature look with editorial fashion taught by The Doves. The class will also demonstrate technical aspects of editorial photography using live models.
