The consumer friendly new site serves as a valuable resource for stylists since they can can utilize it to foster client relationships and boost loyalty and business by adding value to client services.
“I’ve been telling stylists to check out the consumer website, learn a new look, create it on a client and then share the link with that client, so she can recreate the look at home and also get other styling tips and tricks” says Sam Villa, founding partner of Sam Villa and Redken Education Artistic Director.
Many women get frustrated when they can’t recreate the glamorous looks that their stylists have created and taught them—and sometimes it’s difficult for stylists to break down each step of a style to explain it to clients. The new Sam Villa website is a resource for salon professionals for easy, but glam looks that they can share withclients. Clients can then go home and view tutorials while they are actually doing their hair to empower them to achieve these looks at home.
Since some stylists simply can’t afford to attend live educational events, Sam Villa also offers educational DVD’s, YouTube tutorials and other digital tips and tricks to motivate them to grow and develop.
