To continue the success and fanfare of the North American Hairstyling Awards' (NAHA) 25th Anniversary Celebration, the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) and Michael Shaun Corby have developed a 3-part web series to introduce NAHA to emerging stylists and first-time entrants.
Known as the Oscars of Hair, NAHA is the preeminent photographic hairstyling competition in the U.S. and is renowned internationally. Placing as a NAHA finalist can forever alter the course of a beauty professional's career, enhance technical skill and forge lasting professional relationships.
The second webinar of this 3-part series is Monday, August 18 at 1p.m. EDT. Michael Shaun Corby, NAHA judge and Global Creative Director of Alterna Professional Haircare, Sam Brocato, Salon Owner and Product Developer at SBS, Mary Brunetti, Director of Education at Sally Hershberger Salons, and Kris Sorbie, Education International Artistic Director of Redken 5h Ave. will discuss NAHA categories they are familiar with, offer insight into NAHA category selection and share their favorite images from past NAHAs.
The panel will also share their long history with NAHA and their passion for elevating our industry during this interactive and informative session. This 75-minutes session also includes a Q&A with the panel.
Those interested can participate in a single session or attend all three to get an insider's perspective on how to successfully enter NAHA. Additional webinar topics include the benefit of entering NAHA, what NAHA judges look for, and how to create a successful NAHA photo shoot. Past and present NAHA judges and winners will be on hand to give advice and reflect on their NAHA experiences as well.
