Three Golden Globes winners-Madonna, Claire Danes and Michelle Williams-were styled and readied for the cameras by an expert team that used Wella Professionals products. While Wella's top artists were busy at work styling the tresses of A-listers in Los Angeles, Wella Color Ambassador Aura Friedman, Wella Top Artist Alexandra Matiz and Celebrity Stylist Ricardo Rojas were closely watching the live coverage, so that they could give the inside scoop on the season's reigning hair trends.
Retro Style:
"I loved the retro 60's styles that popped up on the Red Carpet-very unexpected. It was both bad-ass and darling to see these girls bring these styles on to the Red Carpet," says Friedman. Stars sporting this retro look include Nicole Richie, Zooey Deschanel, Freida Pinto, Tina Fey and Michelle Williams (who was styled using Wella products).
Timeless, Pretty and Overtly Feminine:
"My favorite look is one which is easily re-created, feminine and timeless. The dress can be such an influence on the starlet's Red Carpet hairstyle, and this look is so complimentary to a statement-making dress," says Rojas. Stars spotted wearing this classic, feminine style include Madonna (styled using Wella products), Elle MacPherson and Reese Witherspoon.
Expensive yet Effortless:
"An expensive yet effortless look that is full of movement and life-a perfect Red Carpet look for a woman of any age was prominent on the Red Carpet," says Matiz. Some A-listers seen wearing this look include Jessica Biel, Shailene Woodley (styled using Wella products) and Rooney Mara.
