Nelson works with a public relations agency to help him develop his career agenda in many aspects. One of those ways is to introduce him to high profile and celebrity clients. I was very interested to learn how that works because most of the stylists I know don't realize that we all need help to expose our talents to the people who appreciate them the most.

It's not easy to catch up with a guy who owns his own salon, has a wife and three kids, jet.sets to photo shoots in Puerto Rico and Italy, travels to Florida to work with stylist icon Jesse Briggs, and is currently granting interviews with all the top hair magazines. But then I also had to wait to interview him until after his most important day of the year: 'Customer Appreciation Day' at Accents Hair Studio, the salon he owns an operates with his wife in Ontario Canada. There were about 20 people in attendance but Jeff stood out, first he's tall, then he has a long beard, then he has a long pony tail, then he has a long history in the Beauty Profession as a "nice guy", I vote for the nice guy tag too. Jeff is currently an Educator for ALTERNA and he owns and operates a 25+ station Award winning Salon in Aliso Viejo CA. Jeff helped me give a class at COBA a Beauty College in Orange CA and I had a chance to find out a lot more about this talented and artistic business like person. We sat down in his Salon and started to talk.
