For a half-century, British-based hair colorist Daniel Galvin has continued an esteemed family legacy. Prince Charles honored his work with the Crown's highest accolade, the Order of the British Empire. Both his grandfather and father were respected hairdressers in Galvin's native UK; while Daniel was still at school, he spent his Saturdays sweeping the floors and hanging up the towels at his father's London salon. Today, Daniel's brother Joshua, and his three children, Daniel Jr., James, and Louise, all carry on the proud Galvin tradition.
