Junior Style Stars - a beauty organization that's devoted to creating prize-worthy bridal com-petitions for cosmetology stu-dents - recently crowned a new beauty queen...or rather a national student champion. Angelica Gomez, who's studying the art of professional beauty at the Los Angeles Trade Technical Collegein the City of the Angels, beat out 325 other competitors to win top honors, which included a heart-pounding $50,000 in cash, educa-tion and travel opportunities, as well as the chance to work with, and be mentored by, a bevy of renowned hairstylists. Gomez was presented her award during a sur-prise presentation by Junior Style Stars founder Paul Barry of Barristar Productions andcelebrity stylist Allen Edwards.
As AG Hair Cosmetics' artistic director, Jami is the creative leader of AG's artistic team.
