Go ahead and scare us Phillipe and David Blond; we’re ready!
With models looking killer chic, The Blonds’ Slasher Sashay presentation was a horror classics cum fashion romp that went off with a Hitch—Alfred Hitchcock, that is.
Walking to a choreographed collision of film and fashion, models wearing insanely hot red makeup stormed down the runway in any number of thriller outfits, including a repetitive butcher-knife print on a ladylike mackintosh with matchy-matchy earrings; faux-fur straight jacket with luxe gold locks; sleeveless shirt dress emblazoned with Janet Leigh’s screaming face; and a bloody shower curtain trench that was to die for (pardon the pun).
To avoid playing serial killer favorites, The Shining also received a nod and a wink, including an oversized image of Jack Nicholson’s deranged character printed on a demure bodice.
As expected, the full corsetry drove fans—already happily horrifi ed—into a frenzy, as did CND’s talons, which nearly stole the show.

“David Blond was the most ornate femme fatale of the Slasher Sashay show. We used over 2,000 Swarovski crystals to create his sparkling, bloodred nails.” CND Style Director Jan Arnold. |
